Warren S. Hecht
During my 32 years of practicing as an attorney I have been appellate counsel or of counsel on over 250 published appellate court decisions which include civil and criminal appeals in State and Federal Court.
The vast majority of the criminal appeals were after trial. The majority of the civil appeals were pre-trial motions including the granting or the denial of a motion to dismiss or for summary judgment.
The criminal cases are convictions from a B misdemeanor up to an A-1 felony. The civil cases involve many areas of law such as civil rights, contracts, constructive trusts, corporations, custody, employment, family offenses, guardianship, immigration, landlord-tenant, licenses, matrimonial, malpractice, mortgages, neglect proceedings, personal injury, real property and unemployment insurance.
